• Allow every learner the opportunity and encouragement to become a literate, numerate, critical thinker capable of embarking on a secondary education career with as broad a range of subject/career options as is individually possible
• Engender a reverence for learning, a spirit of creative, innovative thought and develop individual accountability for learning
• Foster a spirit of goodwill, tolerance, mutual respect, and encouragement amongst staff, parents, and learners
• Foster and develop a sense of individual and joint responsibility for the learning process amongst teachers, parents, and learners
